KPMG in the UK has appointed Al Adedayo as a Partner in the Operations Team, where he will have a sector focus on Energy and Natural Resources (ENR). Al will join KPMG UK next month and will bring valuable expertise to the award-winning supply chain and procurement teams already working to provide thinking on sustainable supply chain management as part of KPMG’s wider ESG strategy and multi-year investment in this area.
Al will lead the drive to support clients primarily in the Energy and Natural Resources sector, although other sectors will also benefit from his expertise. Al joins from EY, where he was the UK & Ireland Supply Chain lead in Business Consulting and will bring over 20 years’ experience to clients’ supply chain challenges; helping drive forward the firm’s work with clients on sustainability and ESG commitments.
Energy and Natural Resources is one of the largest sectors for KPMG UK and is at the forefront of the ESG agenda, given the critical importance of the Energy Transition, decarbonisation and the shift to Net Zero. All ENR clients need to transform their supply chains as a result of the combined pressures of cost, global supply chain bottlenecks and ESG commitments.

Al spent 11 years at EY. Prior to that, he spent 7 years at Accenture, having spent several years in industry before becoming a business consultant. He started his career in industry. Al holds an MBA from Bayes Business School and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
