With electric vehicles now starting to be seen on the second-hand car market, evec (pronounced ee-vec), the industry experts in affordable electric vehicle charging solutions, has today announced a deal raising the bar on great quality and affordably priced EV car chargers.

The offer, launching today, Monday 17th July 2023, will see customers purchasing the evec VEC01 charger complete with installation for just £749.99, or the VEC03 charger with installation for £849.99.

Upon the launch, evec’s Olivia Serrage says, ‘As many people are trying to save where they can right now, this offer makes us the most affordable EV charger on the market -especially in terms of the price also including installation. At-home charging is such an important part of owning an EV, and we want to make it as affordable as we can.’

Teaming up with several premium installer companies nationwide, customers can now purchase the VEC01 or VEC03 charger through the evec website and will automatically be assigned a local installer. Olivia Serrage adds ‘Being assigned one of our installers on purchase of an EV charger makes it quicker, easier and more convenient for the customer, enabling them to get up and running with their EV as soon as possible.’

Partnering with tech company installHUB, evec is also able to provide a smooth installation journey with the use of the partnering installHUB app; where EV users can set up their installation and monitor their EV charger usage. CEO of installHUB Stephen Smith says ‘We are excited to embark on such a great partnership with evec. This offer pricing is so competitive and just what we need to see in today’s EV market. This price point helps to make at-home EV charging more available, so if you have the facility to get one installed, it’s a great time to do so.’

The evec charger and installation offer runs from 17th July through to 4th September 2023 with each charger purchase including the installation of the charger itself, cable and cable work of up to 10m, testing, commissioning and setup of the charger, and a full demonstration of how to use the installHUB app. The offer comes with evec’s standard 3-year warranty, which can be extended to 5 years for an additional £100 when purchasing.

The chargers are available to buy from the evec website: https://evec.co.uk/fully-installed/
