Anthesis bolsters rapid global growth with senior ESG and strategy appointments

Anthesis Group, the world’s largest group of dedicated sustainability professionals, has expanded its global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Sustainability Strategy team with two senior strategic appointments.

With a shared focus on sustainable finance and strengthening an already established global team of experts, Mike Jennings joins as a Director, based in the Czech Republic, and Lucy Dwyer joins as an Associate Director in London.

Mike Jennings brings nearly 30 years of consulting, ESG, and financial services experience to Anthesis, having previously been a Consulting Partner at PwC, advising clients globally on sustainability, risk & regulatory, due diligence, finance, and supply chain issues.

Mike’s appointment as a Director will see him support European financial institutions respond to regulatory requirements and market changes driven by the need to de-risk and reallocate capital to more sustainable enterprises. His wealth of experience further strengthens Anthesis’ sustainable finance offering, the team’s ability to deliver across the Eurozone and further afield, and expands Anthesis’ footprint in Central and Eastern Europe.

Further bolstering the team, Lucy joins from the renowned Business in the Community (BITC) where she led the Responsible Business Tracker®, supporting UK businesses to improve their ESG activities and impact. Lucy brings extensive consulting experience in strategy and operations, having previously held roles at PwC and in private equity with NorthEdge Capital, as well as holding an MBA and the CFA certificate in ESG investing.

As a key member of the European and global Sustainable Finance and ESG teams, Lucy will predominantly support Anthesis’ UK clients and their investments respond to international regulatory requirements and other drivers.
