Removable batteries can be charged indoors if there’s no access to driveway charging –a barrier for some would-be buyers.

Away from the passenger car arena, the eagerly awaited Helixx CARGO demonstration vehicle is making its global public debut, marking a significant milestone for UK-based tech start-up Helixx. Helixx is dedicated to transforming global electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing, prioritising last-mile mobility services in densely populated megacities. Micro-Mobility

Across the weekend, Everything Electric plans to offer thousands of test rides at the Micro-Mobility

Test Track, encouraging people to have a go on the newest e-bikes and e-scooters and revolutionise how they travel around the city.

New technology from Boost Bikes launches at the show, allowing Brompton bike-riders to convert their trusty steed to an e-bike. Visitors will also be able to get their hands on the new S-Cargo bike from SynchGo, the ultimate two-seater e-bike perfect for last-mile business deliveries or family school-runs.

Home Technology

Some 13-14% of UK carbon emissions come from heating our homes, which is why The Everything Electric SHOW has plenty of exhibitors on hand to help show guests how to make their homes more energy efficient. Companies such as tapeo, best-known for its revolutionary zero emission boiler, will be launching its new Smart Diverter making its zero-emission boiler system even more efficient.

Energy giant OVO will have experts on hand at the OVO Energy Advice Zone, to offer advice to visitors on everything from solar panels to smart meters.

Sustainable home technology is not just about heating, among the game-changing tech launching at Everything Electric is DURACELL Energy’s home energy storage solution. It will be launching two products at the show including its revolutionary stackable 5-160kWh high-performance home battery system.

NexBlue will be launching two new EV chargers as well as a load balancer. Proven in Europe, these products have been redesigned for the UK market. Meanwhile the ECORD EV Home Charger range, from South Korean manufacturer Humax, will be seen for first time in the UK.

Dan Caesar, CEO of Everything Electric says: “While this is our fourteenth show around the world, it’s the first time we’ve brought Everything Electric to London. Interest from Londoners in EVs, micro-mobility and energy-saving home tech is increasing all the time, and we’re here to encourage people to ‘Stop Burning Stuff’, both in their cars and at home. There’s some fantastic tech at the show this year, with big names like MG, DURACELL, Hyundai and smart bringing products that haven’t been seen in the UK before. With a planned 10,000 test drives, and thousands of test rides, we’re proud to be bringing the World’s biggest test drive programme to London.”
