Tuesday 15th October 2024, London: Vestel Mobility has announced that the recently launched Libra model for the UK market, will be fully integrated with Electric Miles’ comprehensive suite of applications: Installer Miles, Partner Miles, and the Electric Miles App. This powerful combination brings a seamless and enhanced EV charging experience for Vestel Mobility installers, fleet managers, and end users across the UK.

Vestel Mobility, the electric solutions arm of manufacturing giant, Vestel, is one of Europe’s largest EV charger manufacturers, with over 180,000 Vestel units already charging EVs around Europe. The company’s in-house R&D, economies of manufacturing scale and enviable reputation for reliability have driven Vestel Mobility’s growth through offering high-performance, ultra-reliable products at an exceptional value. The inclusion of Electric Miles software in all Vestel chargers going forward further enhances the functionality and usability of the range.

Having initially offered the Electric Miles app for drivers in its initial suite of EV chargers for the UK market, Vestel Mobility has now expanded Electric Miles integration in its charger range to deliver all three of the company’s integrated applications. The move sees enhanced useability and dedicated features for EV installers and EV fleet managers or operators, in addition to Electric Miles’ slick end-user app.

Electric Miles App – The end-user driver application provides a user-friendly interface for EV owners to manage their charging experience. Through the Electric Miles App, users can schedule charging sessions, track energy usage, and receive notifications when their vehicle is fully charged. The app also offers smart charging features, allowing users to charge their vehicles during off-peak hours to save up to £750 on cheaper tariff or charge using solar for free. The Electric Miles App makes EV ownership more convenient and cost-effective, enhancing the EV driving experience.

Installer Miles – Designed specifically for EV charger installers, Installer Miles simplifies and streamlines the installation process. This application provides real-time diagnostics, remote configuration, and easy setup, ensuring that installations are completed swiftly and efficiently. Installers can also access comprehensive support and troubleshooting tools, reducing the time and complexity involved in setting up EV chargers.

Partner Miles – A bespoke application for operators and fleet managers, Partner Miles offers advanced management capabilities for EV fleets. With this application, fleet managers can monitor and control multiple chargers from a single dashboard, schedule charging sessions to optimise energy usage, and access detailed reports on charging performance and costs. Partner Miles enables fleet managers to maximise efficiency and reduce operational expenses, making it an essential tool for businesses managing EV fleets.

Ali Khan, Head of EVC UK Sales & Business Development, commented, "We are thrilled to bring the full suite of Electric Miles applications to our EV charger range, enhancing our manufacturing excellence with cutting-edge charging management software for every application. Integrating all three Electric Miles applications into our new chargers, including the new Vestel Mobility Libra models, ensures our customers receive a seamless, efficient, and future-proof charging solution."
Arun Anand, CEO of Electric Miles, added, “Partnering with Vestel Mobility, one of Europe’s largest EV charger manufacturers, further establishes Electric Miles as the UK leader in EV charging software and control. As EV numbers increase, there is a growing need for software that can automatically time shift EV electricity demand to protect the grid and minimise customer energy costs, as well as offering flexible charger management and reporting for commercial users. We are looking forward to working with Vestel Mobility to embed these solutions across its EV charger portfolio.”

As the demand for EVs continues to rise in the UK, this collaboration positions Vestel Mobility as a leader in delivering advanced, reliable, and user-friendly charging solutions to meet the needs of EV drivers, businesses, and EV fleet operators alike.
